This trip that we went on to St. Louis and to Illinois was pretty amazing with you kids. We went to The Arch in St Louis,
the Zoo,
and a Science Museum
and then on to Illinois to visit Abraham Lincoln's home (the Emancipatorwho brought FREEDOM for black slaves)
then for Aldersgate 2014 (FREEDOM)
You guys are growing up so fast and I sure am going to miss you when you guys are on your own. I know that God has a plan for each of your lives and I'm so thankful, but I do cherish these trips and these times that I get to take off work and spend them with you two. Entering into the teenage years, I am losing these precious times as you must grow up and learn your own way of going. I pray that the love I have poured into you will be enough. Only the Lord knows! Josh, this was your last year for the Gate kids and next year you will be with the teens. You and Sarah ran around together a lot. You liked Rebecca. Mikayla this is the trip where you prayed in your heart for the Lord to send someone to pray with you and they did. God healed more areas of your heart as you encountered His presence moving in you. He is with you always!!! He loves you two and wants to have these special times with you even at home. I pray you will both spend time with Jesus as much as possible and that your lives become centered in Him. He is worth giving up ALL this world! ;) here are some pictures for yall.
