Josh- in sweetest voice "mom I love you. I want to watch a movie with you. You are my sweety"

Mom- "Josh, why you reckon that you can be so mad at times with your mama and yet absolutely go crazy to spend time with your old mom?"

Josh- "cuz I always forgive mama

There are moments when you melt as a mama. I think this was one of those for me. Too sweet!!! 

Stand still (God has a plan)

Just want to remind you that through all the storms, GOD IS STILL GOOD!! ;) He is holding us in the palm of His hands.

The Father has a plan. Though it's hard to see it now

Painting together

Tonight, we decided to go do some painting in the front yard. It's been an extremely hard weekend this weekend having a few blowups and meltdowns While you were at friend's houses. It's tough to process all of the emotions that are coming at us at one time. So, we decided we would take up painting. Even in the midst of painting, we got a little angry. I hate it when we do that, But one thing the Lord has told me over this weekend is "there are no I love you but..."s  in the kingdom of God. He loves us when we are at our most broken place. And in the midst of our broken place, that is when Jesus died on the cross for our sin. I thank God for the blood of Jesus and I am proud of you for the way you are handling all of the pain. It's not easy being a prophet in training. There are many people who say they would not wish this on their worst enemy. But call calls us valuable Joshua. Don't ever give up!! I love you and I'm proud to be your mom no matter how frustrated we may get at times. I have attached your beautiful picture.

I love you! You are so stinking precious this morning sleeping with Snowball I just had to take this picture. I think you stayed up all night long this night playing on the computer. You were exhausted!!

I AM PROUD OF YOUR EFFORTS

We have had a lot of struggles. There have been many times where there has been a lot of disrespect, fussing, arguing, and fighting with us. However, I noticed that you are really trying to make an effort to have quick obedience.  I am so proud of the efforts you have been making. Not only the efforts, but also I am noticing that your behaviors are changing for the better. You have been effective in what you're doing and I am so proud. We are all working on our behaviors in this family and we will stand strong in the end against the enemy of our lives. I know you always tell me that everything I say has to do with God, but that's just who I am. I can't see all these changes taking place apart from prayer and seeking the Lord like we have been. We have cried to the Lord and he has heard our cries. He has turned around and given us Wisdom and strength to be able to do these things. I love you baby!! ;)

This morning I saw this on Facebook and prayed that I would be all you ever needed in a mom and not just all you wanted. There are tough times in our lives and we don't always communicate the best, bur we are all in this together and we stick together! We are a work in progress!! LOVE NEVER FAILS!! I am thankful for you and your sister and Zi am proud to call you my children.
